Fretta Craven’s new intimate black and white photography series is an exploration of botanical personalities of plants and seeds. Without color the viewer’s attention is focused on the textures created by light and shadow which reveals the depth of detail in nature. Within the detail the viewer becomes interconnected with nature. A balance between viewer and nature happens revealing the plant or seed’s unique personality.
